How do I make an account?

You can create an account in the Registration page. You must fill in all required fields, and agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy in order to complete your account registration.

Do I have to pay to play MicroVolts?
A
MicroVolts is a free to play online multiplayer game. You will never have to pay for the ability to play the game. Players can obtain customization items using Micro Points which are earned in-game. You are also able to purchase convenience and special items using Rock Tokens which can be purchased using real money.

What languages are provided by customer service?

Currently, our customer service supports English, German and Turkish.

How do I contact a GM?
A
You can contact a GM by sending a support ticket here. We receive many support tickets each day, so please allow some time for our GMs to read and address your questions.

How do I become a GM?
A
Rock Hippo Productions is currently not hiring any new GMs. The best way to show the MicroVolts team that you deeply interested in becoming a GM is to be an active, constructive member of the player community. We will sometimes refer to the player forums for assistance in events, social media, or forum moderation.

How do I add friends to my friend list?
A
Friends can be added to your friends list by clicking the [Users] icon located in-game at the bottom right of your lobby screen. From there, you may type in the name of the user you wish to add to your friend list. You can also right click on a player’s name in a game lobby and click [Add to Friends]

How do I create a character?

By default, user accounts are activated with two unlocked characters: Naomi and Knox. You may customize these characters to your liking at the in-game Shop. You can also unlock Pandora and C.H.I.P. using Micro Points.

How many characters can I have in one account?
A
Players have access to four characters in MicroVolts: Naomi, Knox, Pandora and C.H.I.P. Those who wish to change their in-game name must create a new account to do so.

How do I report a hacker?

Hackers can be reported by sending a support ticket here. Please be as detailed as possible in your report, including player/account names, offense, and any helpful screenshots, video, or media.

How can I change my email address?

You can change your email address by using the Change Email Address function in the My Account page.

How can I change my security question and answer?

Security question and answers may only be changed by a customer support representative. Please send us a customer support ticket here. If you are having trouble receiving your email from Forgot Password feature, please use the support page to contact a customer service representative here., to request this change. Note that players must confirm their account identity in order to have this change made.

You may change your password in the My Account section. From there, you will be asked to enter your current account password, followed by your new account password and a confirmation of your new password.

Why do I lag and how do I fix that problem?
A
Latency problems may be attributed to many problems, including personal network connection, server location, and background applications running. As we cannot guarantee that servers will be running optimally, Please be patient with any latency problems. If these problems persist, please contact customer service here in order to have a representative look at the issue.

Any technical problems that cannot be solved using the Support page may be directed to the customer service team. Please send us a customer support ticket here, in order to contact a representative to assist you with the issue. Please be detailed in any system specifications while submitting a ticket.

Can I play under Mac OS/Linux?
A
MicroVolts is currently only available on Windows operating systems. You can play on a Mac computer by running Windows via Boot Camp.
